The San Francisco Conservatory of Music New Music Ensemble presented three evenings of music by John Cage at the DeYoung museum in San Francisco on May 20, 21 and 22, 1971. In this recording John Cage presents a reading of his works including: Not Wanting to Say Anything about Marcel, Diary: How to Improve the World (You Will Only Make Matters Worse, Part VI), and Acrostic: Merce Cunningham.
